Looking for padel around Franschhoek, Paarl or Stellenbosch? Groot Drakenstein Games Club welcomes players and visitors to three outdoor padel courts at Simondium, on the R45.
Book a court with friends, find a social game or build your confidence with coaching. From your first lesson to a competitive Americano, the club’s programme offers different ways to get on court.

Can visitors book a padel court?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to book through Playtomic. Members currently save 20% on court bookings. Explore club membership or check current court availability.
Can I join if I am new to padel or do not have a group?
Explore our beginner courses and coaching, or find a suitable game in the social padel programme. Ask the Pro Shop to help you choose a session for your experience level.
Are rackets available and how much does it cost?
Rackets are included in coached sessions; racket hire is available for other play. Check Playtomic for the current court or session price and contact the Pro Shop to confirm equipment arrangements.
Is there padel coaching for children?
Our Junior Academy offers age-group coaching focused on movement, racket skills and confidence. Check the published junior programme and confirm eligibility and spaces on Playtomic.
Where do the games and lessons take place?
All Groot Drak court bookings and club padel sessions take place at our Simondium grounds in the Franschhoek valley. Use the map above when planning your visit from the surrounding Winelands towns.
