Your information.
Day-to-day operations and the website are managed through Franschhoek Sport & Social Club (Pty) Ltd on behalf of Groot Drakenstein Games Club.
What we collect and why
We collect details needed to respond to enquiries, review applications, administer membership and sporting participation, arrange bookings, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. The public membership form does not ask for ID numbers.
Children and marketing
A parent, legal guardian or authorised person must provide a child’s information. Marketing is a separate optional choice, unticked by default; applying or enquiring does not automatically subscribe you.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Necessary information may be shared with service providers, relevant coaches or administrators, advisers and authorities where appropriate. We retain it only while needed for its purpose or a lawful reason.
Security and your rights
Appropriate organisational and technical safeguards protect club records. You can contact us about access, correction, deletion where appropriate, objections, consent withdrawal or marketing opt-out. We verify identity before disclosing or changing personal information.
External services
Playtomic, social platforms and map providers operate under their own terms. Essential cookies support website security and admin sessions. Additional tracking will be disclosed if introduced.
Photography
Photography may be taken at club activities for club communication and promotion. Appropriate additional consent is obtained where required, with particular care for identifiable children.
